Earlier this summer, I was asked to be an editorial adviser for Building Church Leaders, which has a newly upgraded website. Matt Branaugh, one of the brains behind the operation, says this about the site: Nearly 10 years ago, the editors at Christianity Today's Leadership Journal saw a need to provide quality, easy-to-use training materials to church leaders of all types--from senior staff members to volunteer lay leaders--and Building Church Leaders was born. In 2001, an online store opened, putting those training materials into a downloadable format that offered instantaneous access at a price that was sensitive to limited church budgets. Nearly 80,000 people now receive Building Church Leaders' weekly e-newsletter. More than 400 training downloads now are available, contributing to the more than 2,000 training tools now offered on the site. It's a pretty impressive site. Be sure and check out the wide range of contributors and the "Ask the Experts" discussion. I will be contributing some articles and interacting on the site. The link to the site is bad. I was able to get to it by looking at the URL but if the link is clicked, does not work.
