As a SBC church planter and pastor who is also Reformed theologically, I wish I could attend this conference. I will not be able to though due to my commitments to California Baptist University where I teach Church Planting twice a week. This is my first semester to teach and I better not miss any classes.
If you are ever on the West Coast let me know... I would love to meet you. So would our pastors at Murrieta Valley Church in Murrieta, CA.

This issue has been resolved thousands of times in the Lounge and Coffee shops of Seminaries across the land!!
I am praying that there will be a beneficial and exegetical dialogue with genuine substance. Most such endeavors are long on polemics and tragically short on exegesis.
We always hear an appeal for balance - - in October I went to Leiden and visited the reported burial site of Jacobus Arminius. In April I will go to Dordrecht and visit the site of the Council of Dort.
When John Calvin & John Wesley met in heaven there was an immediate reconciliation and resolution of their differences. The reason - Wesley said - "John, you were correct all along!!"
What does the text say? That should be the passion of every Pastor/Scholar exegete. All claim to humble themselves under the authority and sufficiency of Scripture. However, that is profoundly a myth as evidenced by the condition of the church in America. We measure everything except what matters most - - TRANSFORMATION. When this dimension of ministry appears on the ACP we will be able to say we are making real progress - genuine, humble theological progress.
