Saturday is for Seminars

What's Coming Up This Week?

I am in Atlanta already and have Donna with me. She is coming along on this trip, but I bet she won't come to my sessions. Grin.

Here is where I am heading this week.

ChurchPlanters.com Conference in Cumming, GA (Feb. 23, 24)
cpcomcon2.jpgNext week I'm speaking at the ChurchPlanters.com Conference. They've got some sharp speakers, great subjects and really worthwhile breakout sessions. The line up is impressive with Bob Roberts, Nelson Searcy, Troy Gramling, Reggie Joiner, Tony Morgan, Ben Arment, Gary Lamb, Will Mancini, Matt Evans, David Putman, Shawn Lovejoy, Larry McCrary, Brian Bloye, and many, many more.

And do not overlook the Pre-conference and the breakout sessions. Really good stuff. Visit the site and register now.

Great Commission Resurgence in Ridgecrest, NC (Feb, 23, 24)

Yep, same days as above, but no I am not omnipresent. Just quick. All this weight loss is allowing me to travel much faster! The Great Commission Resurgence is the Evangelism and Church Growth Conference of the North Carolina convention. Last week I was in Raleigh Durham for the conference on the east side of the state. This one is for the west side.

Hope to see you next week in Atlanta and at Ridgecrest (near Asheville at LifeWay's pretty cool conference center).

And, looking ahead, here is a conference we just announced today... and it is coming soon.

Subtext Forum in Deerfield, IL at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (March 12th)
In March I'll be teaching a D. Min class at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and while there I'm be speaking at the Subtext Forum on Thursday March 12th. This one day conference runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Subtext is the creation of Steve McCoy and Joe Thorn (pastors in western Chicago suburbs) who are encouraging strategic thinking and open dialog concerning the gospel in the suburban context. The subtext forum will be a great opportunity to network with other pastors and church planters who are not interested in church as usual in suburbia, while we think through some important issues. I'll be teaching in all three sessions: The Missional Church in Principle and Practice, Breaking the Missional Code in Suburbia, and Challenges to Missional Thinking and How to Overcome Them. Registration is only $25 and that includes lunch. Seating is limited for this, so you should register while you can. All the details are at the Subtext website.
