Kristen - you can't "learn" to sing like that. It is a God given talent. I bet we will be hearing from you in the future! God bless you! And....I don't blame your dad for yelling at the end!!
Whenever someone says "listen to my child sing, they're awesome!", you begin to cringe a little bit, because parents tend to be a bit biased. However you truly are awesome! An amazing voice and talent. Rock on!
I did not know I was traveling with such a superstar. Great job Kristen!! I was hopping for some poppin - lockin dancing at the end like you were doing in Rome and Marseille ;-).
Kristen, that was amazing! God has given you a great gift and we look forward to seeing what you do with it in the future. (Some of us are very jealous. Take me, for example. When I sing, I shound like a donkey with athsma.)
Keep it up!!! God has definitely blessed you with a beautiful voice. And I must say, you have much more courage than I did in 5th grade. I would have never had the guts to get up and sing in front of my class/school. Well Done!
Oh, my goodness! Now that was great! Hey, Kristen! I've been doing music stuff for a long time and I've never heard a young lady sing like that. If I was starting a band I'd look for a singer like you! Keep it up!
what I am about to say has nothing to do with the above post. So...delete this after you read it if you like. But, I just read an article on BP that I hope you will respond to. I am a big fan of Lifeway Research and have read most all your books. I hope that you can put together a response soon.
PS - Loved your talk at Advance09. I left fired up!
What a strong voice she has and what a sweet quality to it! I see BIG things for her....wish Dad would let her sing in Church one
Sunday! hint hint....

Wow! Great voice! Thanks for sharing this. She's gonna be an American Idol one day.
Ed, that's an amazing voice for one so young. This is surely a gift from God. Nurture it for His glory.

Kristen- that is NOT a fifth-grade voice! That is the voice of someone with more experience and musical maturity. Great job!
Ed- I hope there are plans for her to get some voice training- she has a great gift and a lot of potential.
Awesome! My third grade son was very impressed.
Good Job!!
Great job, Kristen! Awesome. Your Dad has bragged on your great voice many times. Now I know why! We are all proud of you.

If you are ever in Houston, bring your cd track with you and you'll have an open stage to sing on :)
