The girls have had a great time and were glad to let dad go to his conferences as long as they can go to camp. We even had some family activities (and, yes, I got on a horse). So, it was fun for the family while I was able to encourage several hundred leaders and teachers. And, today we are heading home. Below the girls are sporting their Glorieta shirts. Anyway, all that to say, I thought this was a nice article that I saw on the LifeWay site today. It explained current and future camps that go on here at Glorieta. Here is a snippet: "Glorieta boys and girls camps are the jewel of the Southwest - it's an undiscovered treasure," Heather said. "We wouldn't trade any camp in the world for this one. It has everything from good, old-fashioned archery and canoeing to worship and quiet times all in one of the most beautiful settings you'll ever experience."
The only bad thing is that we are flying back as I post this. Bye, Glorieta. Posted on July 24, 2009 at 11:10 AM ~ 0 Comments |
