Merry Christmas

Thursday December 24, 2009   ~   3 Comments

From the Stetzers to your family: Merry Christmas.

Christmas is always a wonderful time for family and friends. My girls always love the opportunity to look wonderful!

But, we always remember the focus of Christmas is Jesus. Not family time, the "Happy Holidays," or the "joy of the season." Those are the results-- Jesus is the focus.

Christmas involves a place and is a historic reality. I've seen the place. It's marked in silver now, though originally it was just a manger in a cave because there was no room for them at the inn.

Today it looks like this:

But 2000 years ago, in a humble manger, the King of Kings was born.

Tomorrow morning we will read from Luke 2, pray, and thank God that the "word became flesh" and God the Son was born Jesus the Christ!

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Ed!

Ed,

We need to start support group for men who only have cute kids because of our wives. As someone told me about my wife, "You out kicked your coverage."

God bless your family!
